With the three day event coming up, I am mainly riding Cloud to keep him fit and ready for the show. However, he gets bored easily if we keep to the school so we need to take a break every so often and try something else. Today we did orienteering with the Jorvik Rangers and he loved it— a change is as good as a holiday for the intelligent ones. It took us a while and I had planned badly so I ended up having a rushed lunch in between haying all the stables and taking Joey out on a hack, but it is worth it if it stops Cloud from going sour.
